On April 13, 2019 at approximately 2350 hours, this department was dispatched to the area of Isaac Graham Road for a 911 hangup call. Ptl. Woolverton arrived and observed a vehicle parked on the street with several occupants inside. One of the occupants admitted to dialing 911, but stated it was accidental. Upon further investigation, the odor of marijuana was detected inside the vehicle and after searching the vehicle, marijuana was recovered. The passenger, Hayley Nace, admitted to possessing the marijuana and was arrested. Nace was processed at headquarters and was issued summons complaints for possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia. Nace was released pending a future court date. The filing of criminal charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
