Dwi/ cocaine/ marijuana arrests

On April 20, 2019 at approximately 0240 hours, Ptl. Bodine stopped a white Nissan on Potterstown Road near Halls Mill Road. The driver, Patrick O' Shea was found to have consumed alcohol earlier in the night. O'Shea failed several sobriety tests and was arrested for DWI. Upon searching O'Shea, cocaine and marijuana was located. The passenger in the vehicle, Richard Walsh, was also found to be in possession of marijuana. Both individuals were arrested and processed at headquarters. O'Shea was charged with possession of cocaine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia along with motor vehicle summonses for DWI, possession of CDS in a motor vehicle, and failure to maintain lane. Walsh was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, and underage possession of alcohol. Both O'Shea and Walsh were released pending a future court date. The filing of criminal charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
