On Monday, May 20, 2019 at approximately 2:26 PM the Readington Township Police Department along with the Whitehouse Rescue Squad was dispatched to the intersection of Route 629 (Stanton Road) and Stanton Mountain Road for a serious motor vehicle accident involving a bicyclist and small sedan. The bicyclist, a 45 year old female from Whitehouse Station was flown by the New Jersey State Police to RWJ University Hospital. The driver of the sedan, a 19 year old male from Whitehouse Station was cited for Careless Driving.
