May 23, 2019 at 0934 hours:

At the above date and time, officers from the Readington Township Police Department were called to a residence on Kosciuszko Road for a car that crashed into a swimming pool. Upon arrival, officers located a partially submerged 2011 Chevrolet Camaro and the driver of that vehicle, Adam Deutsch (age 57, Whitehouse Station). It was discovered that Deutsch did not live at the residence, and the homeowner did not know him. Deutsch suffered minor injuries during the crash and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Patrolman Jason Phares investigated the crash and determined that Deutsch was driving while impaired on narcotics. Deutsch was charged with reckless driving and driving under the influence.

The filing of criminal charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
