On May 24, 2019 at approximately 0215 hours, Ptl. Bodine stopped a Ford Fusion on Route 22 near Ridge Road for speeding. The driver, Ryan Caruso, was given several sobriety tests, which he failed. Caruso was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, careless driving, and speeding. Caruso was released pending a future court date. The filing of charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
