On Friday, June 21, 2019 Readington Township Police officers arrested Darren Pieper, 44 of County Road 523 in Readington Twp. on possession of child pornography charges. An investigation of Pieper began on May 13, 2019 leading detectives to storage devices containing child pornography files. Pieper was lodged at the Somerset County Jail after processing. The Readington Twp. Police Department would like to thank the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office's Digital Forensic Unit for their assistance in this case.
