On July 21, 2019 at approximately 1936 hours, Cpl. Serrone stopped a Chevrolet Traverse on Route 22 near Coddington Road for speeding. The driver, Mario Carcamo, was given several sobriety tests, which he failed. Carcamo was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, reckless driving, speeding and unsafe lane change. Carcamo was released pending a future court date. The filing of charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
