On Friday, August 2, 2019 Sfc. Ferreiro, conducted an investigation of a harassment complaint. During the officer's investigation, he located evidence that harassing messages were being sent from Samantha Ramirez (31) of Perth Amboy, NJ. With the assistance of Raritan Township Patrolman the officers were able to locate Ramirez at a convenience store on Rt. 31 in Flemington, NJ on August 3, 2019. Ramirez was arrested and charged with harassment of the victim. The filing of criminal charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in the court of law.
