motor vehicle crash involving a DWI

On August 22, 2019 at approximately 1950 hours, the Readington Police were dispatched to Route 629 near Barley Sheaf Road for a car striking a tree. Upon arrival, a black Nissan was observed into a tree with the vehicle heavily damaged and all airbags deployed Ptl. Jack Mazellan spoke with the driver, Brad Fisher, and provided medical aid until he was relieved by the Whitehouse Rescue Squad. While speaking with Fisher, signs of impairment were observed. Fisher was transported to Robert Wood Johnson New Brunswick where he was treated for his injuries. Fisher was issued 3 motor vehicle summonses for Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, and Failure to Maintain Lane.
