On Friday, November 1, 2019 at approximately 2352 hours, Sgt. Heycock observed James Robles (35), Robert Persaud (29) and Ryan Abdullah(34) out of Queens, New York walking on the shoulder of Rt. 22 near the Bank of America. While speaking to the three individuals the officer smelled the odor of marijuana and all three males were all placed under arrest. Robles was charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Persaud and Abdullah were arrested for possession of psilocybin mushrooms, under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. "The filing of criminal charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guility in a court of law."
