On November 8th at 0136 hours, officers from the Readington Police Department were dispatched to Pulaski Road for an overturned vehicle with the driver still entrapped. Patrolman Phares arrived on scene and assisted the uninjured driver out of the vehicle. The driver was identified as Jose Delemos, age 66 from Branchburg NJ. Delemos displayed indicators of intoxication and subsequently failed sobriety tests. Delemos was arrested and charged with DWI and reckless driving. Delemos was released from police custody to a family member.

The filing of criminal charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
