On Wednesday, November 27, 2019 at approximately 0130 hours, Ptl. Mazellan observed a suspicious vehicle parked behind a dense hedgerow just of Forty Oaks Rd. Julianne Mills (19) out of Stockton, NJ and Ariel Vergara (19) out of Whitehouse Station, NJ were both located lying in the woods approximately 20 yards from the vehicle. K9 Agar sniffed the exterior of the vehicle and alerted to the odor of narcotics and under 50 grams of marijuana was located in the interior of the vehicle. Mills and Vergara were both arrested for under 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. "The filing of criminal charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guility in a court of law."
