On Friday, December 5, 2019 at approximately 2015 hours, Angelo Pallitta (58) out of Basking Ridge, NJ was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. Pallitta was involved in a Hit & Run accident on Rt. 202 and involved in a second accident in the WAWA parking lot. Ptl. Darocha arrested Pallitta after failing the officers field sobriety tests. Pallitta was issued a motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Failure to Report and Accident. "The Filing of criminal charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guility in a court of law."
