DWI Arrest
On Wednesday May 13, 2020 at approximately 2258 hours, officers were dispatched to the Farm at Readington for a suspicious male in the parking lot. Upon arriving Ptl. Darocha located a male in a vehicle slumped over his steering wheel. Upon Ptl Darocha's contact with that male he detected a strong odor of alcohol emanating from the vehicle. Ptl Darocha identified the male as Craig Howell (32) of Bedminster, NJ. Howell failed the officer's field sobriety tests and was placed under arrest. Howell was issued motor vehicle summons for Driving while intoxicated, consent to take samples of breath, and refusal to submit to chemical test. "The Filing of criminal charges is merely one step in the process. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law."
